Gary Bethke has been treasurer of the T Fords of Texas since 2010. He is the club's merry prankster, except when it comes to the club's money! In his real life, Gary is a wheeler dealer. He has a couple of antique outlets and frequents estate sales, looking for items of value. He also has interests in various other ventures, including a glass and window business. He came across his 1923 Model T roadster at a sale in Devine around 2002. It was a little rough around the edges, and did not run, but it caught his eye as a thing of value and the price was right. The acquisition led him to make contact with Daniel Bratcher and they traded out work on the 23 for mutual services. Since then Gary has become a partner in Daniel's "Timeless Ts" Model T restoration and repair business. He c0-owns the 1924 1 ton truck in partnership with Daniel and Mike Mackechney. Reluctant at first, Gary has become an accomplished Model T operator, and is a frequent participant in club cruises and tours where his fun approach to life is always appreciated.
